Technology
CloverLeaf Digital’s interactive TV portals are supported by our proprietary dynamic publishing and content management systems. Residing on CloverLeaf‘s servers, the publishing system seamlessly integrates data feeds from multiple content providers, distributes data to edge servers, and publishes the customized, localized and personalized content to proprietary templates designed for the unique display characteristics of each implementation.
CloverLeaf’s network architecture flexibly supports multiple distribution models designed to meet the varied requirements of our customers. All primary applications, databases and processes run on servers located at our data centers. Depending on the implementation, end users can access the applications directly from our servers, or our publishing system can automatically distribute content to edge servers located on the network administrator’s network.
Our content management systems flexibly publish content in any language, and all data types, including graphics, text and video.
All processes are monitored on a 24/7 basis, including: content delivery, import and ingest processes, data center machine health, edge server communication and health, and set-top box activity.
Perhaps most important as a deployment consideration, our applications can be deployed with little or no middleware or set-top box integration. In most environments, our applications run in the resident embedded browser or display engine. Therefore once we have optimized the application for the browser, the application is supported by the platform, and no integration is required.
